| The Great Pyramid One of the Ancient Wonders of the World & An Excellent Example of Master Stonemasons keeping their secrets. |
as Master Masons they were required to keep the "Secrets of Building" from all but the most worthy Fellowcrafts (senior students). Today as a result we don't know exactly how the Master Masons built the Great Pyramid. We can not reproduce the mortar that was used or the methods used to move such huge cut stones into such perfect alignment. It took perhaps thousands of laborers, apprentices, and fellowcrafts to help the Master Masons build The Great Pyramid. The four sides of the Pyramid are aligned to the four primary Points of the Compass, North, South, East, and West. For centuries the four sides were thought to be perfect angles. When the above picture was taken from space it was found that the four sides were not perfect angles, they are actually slightly bowed. Another Master Mason's secret was learned, the Master Mason's when building the Pyramid understood that a slight bow would be stronger and less likely for the Pyramid to collapse. In ancient times If a structure collapses and people are killed the King would hold the Master Stonemason or designer as being responsible. It is the Master that tests each design and determines with Geometry if it's safe. The Master teaches his Worthy FellowCrafts his Geometry. Why only the Worthy FellowCrafts? For if a FellowCraft fails to learn the Geometry correctly than a collapse/failure will occur; bringing shame to the Master. Today's Master Masons keep secrets only to identify each other. We still teach Students our Craft of Friendship, Faith, and being a good Citizen. We spare our time and join with other good men, helping our community together. We hope Good Men find us and learn with us as the original Band of Brothers. Worthy Master Masons keep their Secrets to only the most worthy Fellowcrafts, then and now. |
